September 28 2008: Proposals to erect four 102 metre high wind turbines and associated ancillary equipment on land at Carsington Pastures, Manystones Lane, Carsington have been approved by Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government following an eight day public inquiry held in July at Matlock Town Hall.

(2013) Wind turbines delivery could cause traffic disruption
Special delivery of wind turbine units bound from Goole for CARSINGTON Pasture Wind Farm is likely to cause local traffic disruption for two weeks from 22 November.

CARSINGTON Pastures wind farm build to get under way
CARSINGTON Wind Energy, the group behind the project, said work would begin in the week beginning 21 May and take about six months to complete.

Proposal for a new solar energy & battery storage farm
We submitted an application for a Development Consent Order (DCO) for Longfield Solar Farm to the Planning Inspectorate (PINS) on 28 February 2022. This was accepted for Examination on 28 March 2022.
