Vattenfall submits plans for £190m wind farm
The company said the 170MW South Kyle Wind Farm could power more than 90,000 households in the UK. The farm would be based near Patna, Carsphairn, DalmELLINGTON and New Cumnock.

Council rejects wind turbines in Cambridgeshire village
Plans to erect four wind turbines near a Cambridgeshire village of ELLINGTON have been rejected. Renewable energy company RES UK & Ireland Ltd applied to Huntingdonshire District Council to build the turbines on a 219-hectare (540 acre) site.
