Kent Enviropower Limited (a part of the Waste Recycling Group) operates the integrated waste management facility at Allington Quarry on the outskirts of Maidstone.
The facility takes non-hazardous waste from households and businesses in Kent and the surrounding area for recycling and energy recovery.
The EfW facility will have an annual capacity of 500,000 tonnes, with a further 25,000 – 65,000 tonnes of sorting and processing capacity to handle materials suitable for recycling.

Extra 11 turbines at Crystal Rig wind farm
Fred Olsen Ltd, has submitted an application to the Scottish Government’s Energy Consents Unit for an additional 11 turbines to the south of the current wind farm site that has 91 turbines, developed in three separate stages.
