An idyll blighted by 18,000 solar panels
Photographer Tim Woodcock, 54, captured the image from a helicopter while flying more than 1,000ft above the solar array near FAWLEY. The energy saving farm on the Cadland Estate uses photo-voltaic panels to produce five megawatts of power.

Solar panel farm switched on in New Forest
One of the UK's largest ground-mounted solar farms has been switched on in Hampshire. Energy firm Anesco has erected 18,000 panels on 30 acres of farmland on the Cadland Estate, near FAWLEY, in the New Forest.
