 Comment

Situated just off the B780, around 40 miles south west of Glasgow, 12 wind turbines produce enough green electricity to power around 20,000 homes.
Ardrossan wind farm, Ayrshire, Scotland has an installed capacity of 30MW and was acquired by Infinis from Scottish and Southern Energy plc in May 2010. It has been generating since March 2004 and was extended in 2009. Ardrossan is notable for its favourable wind resource and high capacity factor, which has historically been over 36%.
