Almost 10,000 solar panels have been imported from the United States and are placed in 12 lines in a six-acre field.
The site's owner Western Solar (run by Dr Glen Peters owner of Rhosgilwen mansion) still hopes to double its size - and has planning permission to do so. Will generate enough electricity to power 300 homes as is.
