Fair Head Tidal has lodged a planning application for permission to build tidal turbines on the seabed and associated infrastructure to bring the power ashore.

Gruggandoo Wind Farm April 2017
The proposed scheme would have an installed capacity of 39.6MW, comprising 12 turbines, each with a maximum blade tip height of 125m and a hub height of 75m. Access to the site will be taken from Mullgahgarriff Road for all turbines.

PLANNING APPROVAL UNANIMOUSLY GIVEN FOR CROSSDYKES WIND FARM
At a meeting of the Planning Applications Committee on Tuesday 24th May, Councillors gave their unanimous backing to the 15 turbine wind farm, proposed by Muirhall Energy.
